2006-05-30 Maimonides School’s quest for national supremacy in Titan, Junior Achievement’s on-line business competition, has fallen one round short of the national championships.Maimonides, spring Titan champion among all Massachusetts schools, lost in the final qualifier round, after emerging successful from the opening round of the nationals. Competing in the eight-team Northeast regionals, Maimonides came in fourth, and ended up 13th in the country—in its first year of Titan competition. The eight team members were Casey Anis, Shifra Baronofsky, Joseph Itkis, Seth Polaner, Raphael Rosen, Adin Shuchatowitz, Ephraim Shafner and Josh Warren. Faculty advisor was Dr. Jack Billings.
